Holly Jeffreys DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Holly founded Panhandle Family Care in 2009 in efforts to improve access to healthcare for rural residents of the Texas Panhandle. Holly completed a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from West Texas A&M University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Texas Health Science Medical Center. Holly is a licensed EMT, RN, and APRN and Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Rural Health Clinic Professional. Holly currently serves as a Board President for Bushland ISD and WTAMU CONHS advisory board. She is an active member of the Texas BON advisory board, NWTSBDC advisory board, TPCPACO board, Harrington Cancer & Health Foundation board, and the Lt. Governors’ Advisory Board - Health Care Committee. Holly has been named Texas Panhandle Small Businessperson of the Year by U.S. Small Business Administration, Texas Nurse Practitioner of the Year by Texas Nurse Practitioners, and University of Texas Distinguished Alumni for which only 42 individuals have been awarded over the last 46 years. Holly has also received the American Association of Nurse Practitioners State Excellence Award for Texas and the 25 Great Panhandle Nurse Award for the Texas Panhandle. Holly and her husband are active in church and enjoy spending time ranching and rodeoing with their four children and extended family and friends.
Sarah was born and raised in the Lubbock, Texas area. She recently moved to Amarillo with her husband and two young daughters. Sarah received her Diploma of Nursing from Covenant School of Nursing in 2015, Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016, and Masters of Science in Nursing in 2019. Her nursing background primarily includes emergency medicine and urgent care. She worked in Lubbock at University Medical Center Emergency Room, Level One Trauma Center, as a registered nurse. Upon obtaining her masters degree and becoming a family nurse practitioner, Sarah transferred to Kingspark Urgent Care. She is very knowledgeable and skilled in treating adults and children. Sarah is excited to bring her expertise to the Panhandle. She is ready to take care of your entire family by focusing on holistic health and utilizing thorough communication.

Laci was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. Laci graduated from the Covenant School of Nursing, completing her Bachelors in Nursing from Lubbock Christian University and her Masters in Nursing from Angelo State University. Laci is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care across the lifespan. She has clinical experience in Neonatal ICU nursing, Oncology, Cardiac ICU, Psychiatry, and Family Care. Laci recently moved to the Texas Panhandle and joined the Family Care Clinic team to provide access to primary health care services to residents of Armstrong and surrounding counties.
Destry Morgan MSN APRN FNP-C
Destry grew up in the small town of Shamrock, TX. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and began her career as a Registered Nurse with University Medical Center in Lubbock. Destry recently graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing and certification a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a primary care focus across the lifespan. Destry enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs and loves golfing and going to the lake in the summers. Destry is excited to be part of a center of excellence for rural health and is passionate about providing care for patients in the Texas Panhandle.
Cherity Mays MSN APRN FNP-C
Cherity completed an Associates in Nursing from Amarillo College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2013) and Master of Science in Nursing (2015) from West Texas A&M University. Cherity is a licensed RN and APRN and Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Her nursing background includes over 12 years of experience in women’s and children’s health. Since completing her graduate degree, Cherity has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary and urgent care and is knowledgeable and skilled in treating diverse populations. Cherity enjoys taking care of the entire family as well as educating individuals on preventative health measures.
Cherity is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau- the International Honor Society of Nursing, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Panhandle Nurse Practitioner Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Cherity was born and raised in Amarillo. Cherity and her husband Eric enjoy spending time with their two grown children and extended family and friends, as well as traveling when time allows. Bushland is blessed to have Cherity serving such a vital role in our community.
